US Wins Bronze Women's Hockey
Awesome game by the American women against Finland. The US got ahead quickly 3-0 in the first period, in fact in the first two and a half minutes. They dominiated the game throughout and Katie King (#20) scored a hat trick. In the final seconds she got botched up between two Finnish players and tried defending Kristen King or Jaime Hageman near the crease. after getting a little roughed up from the frustrated Finns.
The Finns did a good job, though difficult against a tough American team that scrapped up the puck any way they could.
Final score: 4-0
